Workshop Series

Exploring Coastal and Deltaic Environments

The TRACE online workshop series explored the formation, evolution, and dynamics of coastal and deltaic landforms across the partner countries, while highlighting the impacts of climate change on these sensitive environments.

Participants examined topics such as palaeo-shorelines, coastal morphology, tectonic movements, and the processes that have shaped coastal landscapes through time.

Understanding Environmental Change

The workshops emphasized the importance of understanding the interactions between sea-level changes, tectonic activity, and climate variability in order to reconstruct past environmental conditions and assess future challenges.

Each session focused on a specific coastal or deltaic environment, presenting case studies and research results from the TRACE project.

An International Online Series

The series was organized as a sequence of weekly online workshops over a one-month period, providing a platform for knowledge exchange among researchers, students, and practitioners.
