TRACE Project at the IAG Regional Conference on Geomorphology 2025

The TRACE project team shared its latest findings at the IAG Regional Conference on Geomorphology, held in Timișoara from September 16–18, 2025. Organized under the auspices of the International Association of Geomorphologists (IAG), the conference brought together experts from across Europe to exchange knowledge and ideas on a wide range of geomorphological topics.

Representatives from the TRACE partner universities formed a strong and coherent team, presenting insights from both field campaigns and laboratory analyses carried out within the project. Their contributions highlighted how climate change is shaping diverse geomorphological environments, with a particular focus on deltaic systems and coastal regions.

The papers presented are expected to play an important role in advancing scientific understanding of climate-driven landscape change, reinforcing the TRACE project’s mission to shed light on how natural systems respond to environmental pressures.
