A highly experienced and devoted Professor at the Higher Education Institute – School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (ASPETE) in the cognitive area of “Education Applications of Computational Sciences”, who has made significant contributions to many educational institutions throughout Europe as a Professor and visiting Professor. Professor Psycharis has published more than 200 papers in prestigious journals and has established various Europe-wide improved academic practices for undergraduates, postgraduates, and fellow professors alike. Throughout his career, he has also served as an Advisor to the Greek Minister of Education on issues related to the integration of ICT in education, and Teacher Education Policies. He was also the Coordinator, representing the Greek Government – for the European Network of Teacher Education Policies (ENTEP), served as President of the Network, and was an Evaluator for the European Commission for two years. He was Director of a Master course in STEM Education from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, he served as Rector of ASPETE. He is currently President of the Hellenic Education Society of STEM (Ε3 STEM) and has worked as principal manager and researcher on behalf of ASPETE and E3STEM on European projects. He is co-editor of the Hellenic Journal of STEM Education.
