Angelina Skaraki is a PhD candidate in the Department of Digital Arts and Cinema at the University of Athens (UoA), a Scientific & Technical Advisor for national and European projects, and a STE(A)M Educator. Her research interests center on teaching-learning theories and techniques, scientific experimentation processes, and the integration of new technologies and Artificial Intelligence in education.
Angelina graduated with honors from the Educational Civil Engineering Department of ASPAITE and holds an MBA from the Hellenic Open University & Wrocław University of Economics. She is currently completing a postgraduate program in “STEM Education & Educational Robotics Systems” at the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education at UoA. After her undergraduate studies, she participated in various research projects exploring educational methods in Architecture and Dance. During this period, she also worked as a dance teacher, specializing in pedagogical approaches within the dance field and in architectural and energy design of buildings.
Professionally, Angelina has worked as a Civil Engineer in the construction industry, focusing on the planning and management of building projects, architectural and static studies (repairs & reinforcements), and site supervision. Since 2018, she has been involved in managing educational projects, as well as developing and promoting STEAM products and investment strategies for educational enterprises and institutions. Utilizing various apps and educational software, she has designed and presented numerous STEAM activities and lessons across all educational levels. Since 2020, she has also been preparing student groups for participation in STEAM & Educational Robotics competitions.
As of 2023, she is a board member of the “Hellenic Educational Society of STEM – E3STEM”. Her PhD research is focused on the use of Artificial Intelligence tools and the application of dynamically adaptive games in STE(A)M education, aiming to develop innovative educational approaches that address the future global challenges of both the physical and digital worlds.
